Sculptra®
Sculptra® is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that works gradually, over time, to help stimulate the body’s own, natural collagen production. However, it is unlike other dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, because it does not “fill” or lift deep grooves, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines) or shallower wrinkles. Sculptra® is not injected just under the skin to give it fullness. Rather, it is injected into the deep dermis layer of the skin, where it can work to restore the skin’s underlying structure with collagen building over time. Sculptra® can help you achieve youthful and rejuvenating results.
Unlike other dermal fillers that can be replenished over time, Sculptra® is a one-time treatment regimen that is delivered, generally, in three (though there may be up to four), separate sessions, which are typically scheduled over the course of three to four months.
This gives the body a chance to absorb the poly-L-lactic acid microparticles. The number of sessions and the scheduling are, of course, dependent on the overall treatment plan.

Temperature variation is the most natural way to create an intermolecular bond, without using any additives such as BDDE for cross-linking.
